LSU holds off Yale to advance in the NCAA Tournament
This team never makes things easy, does it?
With a commanding 16-point halftime lead, you just knew Yale wasn’t going to go down easy. LSU shot 46% from the field and went 4-for-17 from deep. Yale struggled mightily from behind the arc, shooting 8-for-37 on the day. The Tigers did a masterful job of holding Miye Oni in check with only 5 points all game.
Alex Copeland led the Bulldogs with 24 points and 5 rebounds.

Next, the Tigers will await the winner of Maryland vs. Belmont on Saturday. With the win, LSU improves to 27-6 on the season.
